NEW START DATE!

Instructor: Trish Tyler

Ready to take your improv to the next level? This eight-week course is designed for improvisers with some experience who are looking to strengthen their skills while creating something entirely their own.

Throughout the session, we’ll revisit and refine the core fundamentals of improvisation, with each week focusing on a specific skill such as scene work, game play, object work, editing, character development, and comedic timing. Through exercises, feedback, and ensemble collaboration, you’ll gain new tools to make stronger choices on stage and build more dynamic scenes.

The heart of the class is collaboration. Together, the ensemble will experiment with different structures and performance styles to develop an original long-form improv format that reflects the group’s strengths and creativity. By the end of the six weeks, you’ll not only have sharpened your improv skills but also helped create a unique performance piece that belongs entirely to your ensemble.

The class culminates in an informal live performance for friends and family!
