Lauryn Boyle
Lauryn Boyle teaches voice, piano, and music to students of all ages in various environments. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from James Madison University. She is a preschool and elementary music teacher in Monmouth County. Lauryn has experience performing in opera and
musical theater. Favorite opera roles performed were Iolanthe (Iolanthe), Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance), Papagena (Die Zauberflöte), Fiordiligi and Despina cover (Così fan tutte), and Paralegal (Dead Man Walking). Opera scene highlights were Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Cendrillon (Cendrillon), Ännchen (Der Freischütz), Rose (Ruddigore) and Yum Yum (The Mikado). Favorite musical theatre roles were Snow White (A Snow White Christmas Musical Premiere), Mrs. Cratchit and the Spirit of Christmas Past (Scrooge!), and Madame de la Grande Bouche (Beauty and the Beast).
Lauryn is a church musician singing as a cantor and soloist for Masses, services, weddings, and funerals at over 15 churches. She presents classical and music theatre concerts for her community and the Suburban Music Study Club of New Jersey. She also finds joy in singing with The Village Carolers, the Tri-State Region’s Premiere Professional Caroling Ensemble, and performing as princesses and characters with The Party Fairy at boardwalk events, special events, and birthday parties.
Last year, Lauryn was the musical director for Hairspray and Elf The Musical Jr. and assistant musical director for High School Musical Jr. at Middletown Arts Center. She has also been the musical director for Into The Woods with Perth Amboy Community Theatre.
