Paint pouring is a fluid art technique which creates an abstract, flowing design with different textures. It’s fun and fairly easy to execute with the right materials and directions. The acrylic paint needs to be mixed with certain mediums to allow the colors to flow freely, and create a texture called “cells.” Come to class with an idea for your color palette. Each student may use up to four colors, and these can be bold and bright, subtle or monochromatic.
$35 (includes all materials)
Recommend students bring an old shirt or apron.
Paintings take 3-4 days to fully dry, so if you want to bring it home that day bring a big cardboard box or plastic sheet to place in your trunk. Canvases are 11×14 or 10×10. You can also leave your painting in the studio and pick up on the following Wednesday.
