Miss Fish’s Summer Art Adventures

There’s no one quite like Miss Fish, whose positive energy and love of children make every day at Summer Art Camp a fun adventure. As an elementary school art teacher for decades, Miss Fish brings a wealth of art education experience to the program. 

Each week is different with many new projects this year and will include them-related, age-appropriate activities. Children will draw, paint, construct and create using various materials including watercolor, tempera paint, different kinds of clay, pastels, pencils and craft materials. Activities vary between morning and afternoon for campers who wish to remain with Miss Fish for the full day.

UNDER THE SEA
June 23–28
Jump into an ocean full of underwater fun!  Sandy beaches, sparkling waves, colorful fish and beautiful seashells await you.

LEARN TO DRAW
June 30 – July 3  | M–TH

Want to learn how to draw a puppy?  Or how to make a realistic looking eye? Just ask!  A fun step-by-step drawing class. With simple instructions, and loving guidance, learn to draw the things you desire.

FAIRIES AND FROGS
July 7–11 
Spend a week in our make-believe garden as you paint, draw and create your own garden delights.  

CASTLE CREATIONS
July 14–18
A royal week of Princes and Princesses, Tiaras and magic wands, and knights and dragons.

GET YOUR GLOW ON
July 21–25
Beautiful art projects using glow in the dark and neon paint.  Stars, planets, fireflies and more.  Black light party on Friday.  

LEARN TO DRAW II
July 28 – Aug 1
Step-by-step drawing  instruction with all new projects as you continue to learn to draw.

PAINTING PICASSOS
Aug 4–8
Paint on a real canvas and have a chance to work on an easel.  Lots of painting  all week long.  

LET’S STOP AT THE PET SHOP
Aug 11–15
A creative week that is all about drawing and creating your favorite pets.  Puppies and Kittens, Snakes and Lizards…we will create them all.  

LET’S DRAW MERMAIDS AND SHARKS
Aug 18–22
With simple instructions, follow along as you learn to draw some creatures of the sea.  

HERE COMES THE SCHOOL BUS
Aug 25–29
Say “goodbye” to summer and get ready for school with some cool creations. End of Summer party on Friday.
