MAC Dance Academy Camps

Join us for these amazing and fun three-day dance camps under the expert instruction of renowned Dancer and instructor Andrea Wachholtz. MAC Dance Academy summer camps offer instruction across all genres for all ages using a model of “teaching without judgment in a structured environment” that focuses on empowering and enabling students through creative and educational methods…all in our beautiful, new state-of-the-art dance studio! 

MINI DANCE INTENSIVE: SESSION ONE | Ages 8–10*
July 9–11 | T–TH | 10:00 am – 2:00 pm 
Members $180 | Non-members $200 
Three fun-filled days of dance for experienced young dancers! Daily morning technique classes in Ballet and Strength/Conditioning. An afternoon of Dance Anatomy and Nutrition followed by Jazz, Contemporary and Musical Theater dance class. *Previous dance experience required.

BRIGHT BEGINNINGS: SESSION ONE | Ages 3–4
July 16–18 | T–TH | 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

For our littlest dancers! A fun-filled, immersive experience through dance, song, story, crafts and educational games! Daily themes include: Magical Mermaids, Fancy Freeze and Beach Party (dress like you’re going to the beach!). 

SUMMER KIDS: SESSION ONE | Ages 5–8
July 23–25 | T–TH | 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

For little dancers! A fun-filled, immersive experience through dance, song, storytelling, crafts and educational games! Daily themes include: Barbie’s Dreamland, Cinderella’s Palace and Girl Power! 

CHOREOGRAPHY WORKSHOP | Ages 11–14 
July 30 – Aug 1 | T–TH | 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

For budding choreographers! A three-day exploration and individualized development of movement with an integrated cross curricular study, through language arts, science and dance, which culminates in a uniquely choreographed work set to music. Daily subjects include: Principles of Composition, Science and Dance and Creative Choreography.
